PDF Files

The PDF (Portable Document Format) format is used by many web site to provide documents that can be read on any computer - it works on PC's running Windows, Apple Computers, PC's running Linux, etc. If you go to a government web site such as the IRS, Medicare, etc., the documents are usually PDF format. Instruction manuals are also often in PDF.

Adobe reader, formally known as Acrobat, is used to read Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) files. You can locate the latest version of Adobe reader at Adobe Products. This is a free program.

Foxit Reader is a free PDF document viewer and printer, with incredible small size (only 2.1 M download size), breezing-fast launch speed and rich feature set. Foxit Reader supports Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista. It can be downloaded at Foxit Software
