Using an E-mail StripperAfter an E-mail is forwarded several times, replied to etc. it can become very messy. Often the E-mail system will add a > at the beginning of each line of text. It may also start to break the message into short sentences. Like shown below in red. This is very difficult to read. Instead of just sending it on, you can fix by using an E-mail stripper. It will remove the >'s and extra paragraphs. The one we recommend is found at www.papercut.biz/emailStripper.htm . You can download and install this program on your computer. Then select the message in the E-mail and paste it into the stripper (See Figure 2-31.). Click the Strip It! button. Then click the Copy button. > Hello Marcy: > > I got your card from a friend of mine. I am in need of two quilts, one queen > and one 92.5 square. The 92.5 square will be done around the end of August > and is an anniversary present. Do you have a waiting list and if so, could > I get on it. Please send details etc. Now open a new E-mail and paste the text into it. Below in Blue is the text after it was stripped. Also note that the product provides its own ad at the end of the message. You can leave it there or select the ad and delete it. Hello Marcy: I got your card from a friend of mine. I am in need of two quilts, one queen and one 92.5 square. The 92.5 square will be done around the end of August and is an anniversary present. Do you have a waiting list and if so, could I get on it.
